Sigma Chi Pro Consul 

As the Pro Consul of Sigma Chi and the Kappa Iota Chapter I was able to attend BLTW or Balfour Leadership Training Workshop. I was also the assistant to the Consul and was able to assume the duties of the president in his absence in chapter meetings and other aspects of the fraternity. Our chapter meetings are held once a week on mondays at 6pm, the typical meeting would include chapter business, chapter events, and occasionally elections for positions, on average a chapter meeting runs about 2 hours but could run as long as need be. Once a week I organized and lead the discussions in the executive committee meetings, and also to attend every chapter meeting. Along with that I taught the newly initiated brothers in P.I.T. sessions or Post Initiation Training, which is basically just transitioning them from pledge-ship to being an active brother in chapter. In this position I also was expected to direct and maintain organization amongst all of the other positions in the chapter. Another one of my duties was to keep an updated recorded of the chapter's bylaws and holding the brothers accountable. Our chapter bylaws are a list of rules that we submit to the school that are brothers have to abide to, and if they break these rules they will be subject to punishment which we refer to as being J-Boarded. Being Pro Consul I also was apart of the Judicial Committee. At the end of my term I was able to assist in the  training of my successor.
